Daytrip to Toledo


Check out our cool trip to Toledo!! Hello students of 1º ESO!!!!!!!

On last Friday we took a trip to Toledo to see the sites and monuments of this ancient city. With our Technology and History teachers we discovered many facts and surprises about of very near capital city. In spite of the weather, we had had a wonderful day!

Questions for 1º ESO! Give it a shot!
1. What are the most beautiful monuments you saw in Toledo?
2. How many different arches did you see? What are they made of? What are the styles?
3. Give some information about your best interview of foreign people.
4. Did you have fun?

    1. Alcántara and San Martín bridges were the most beautiful
    2. Rounded. pointed and horseshoe. They're made of stone. The styles are romanesque and gothic.
    3. Her name is Lorein and she is from Whales. She was in Toledo for tourism. She likes Toledo because is plenty to see. She doesn't speak Spanish, but she speaks Japanese. She recommend Spain because everybody is friendly.
    4. Yes, because We saw very things and we ate next to the ducks but we walked much! :)

    1. Toledo Cathedral and river Tagus.
    2. We saw four arches: Rounded, pointed and horseshoe arches.This stiles are: Gothic, Roman, Romanesque and arabic.There were made of rock.
    3. Valero, is from Italy, is under a canopy o turism, recomend Toledo by the paella.
    4. Yes, we had a great time.

    1.The most beautiful monument for us is la Sangre Arch because the legend is very beautiful.
    2.-We saw four monuments or more.
    -Is made of rock and more.
    - The styles are gothic,romanesque and roman.
    3.His name is Taiwan.He is from Japan.. He is in Toledo or tourism.He speak French, Corean etc.He recomended Spain but is he first time here.
    4.Yes, we did. The excursion was very funny.But the weather not!! =D

    1.The monument most beatiful are the Primate Cathedral Door and River Tagus.
    2. I see, the 4 arches:
    Primate Cathedral Door:Made of cement, and is Gothic style.
    Alcantara Bridge:Made of Stone, and is Roman style.
    San martin bridge:Made of stone, and is Gothic style.
    La sangre arch: Made of stone, and is Arabic style.
    3. Clara , is our best interview. She live in Lleida, She is in Toledo for Studies and Love.
    She like this city and she speak French, English and Spanish.
    4.Yes,we had fun.

    and the pick is pointed.the style is romanesque.
    3.the name is Valerio,he was in toledo because tourims and studies,he recomended the paella and he love this city.

    2. The arch of Alcantara bridge is the style rounderd, theis fact for stone. The San Martin has a arch the style rounderd, this is fact for stone. La Sangre Arch is an arch whit form horshoe. The Primate Cathedral Door has a style gothic and is fact for stone.
    3. Julieta, she´s from Argentina, she´s in Toledo for tourism, she speaks many languages,
    Julieta recommends Spain because the people is nice.
    4. Yes because the way was fantastic.

    1. The cathedral, San Martin bridge, Alcántara bridge and La Sangre arch.
    2. There are three differents arches. It made of rock and stone. The styles are horseshoe, rounded and gothic.
    3. Interview: His name is Derek, he's from England. He is in Toledo for work, he like this city because is very beautiful. He doesn´t speak Spanish but he speak Italian. He recommended Spain for the monuments.
    4. Yes, the trip has fun.

    2. In bridge: Are rounded archs, are made of stone, rocks.And one is punted arch,made of stone and is romanesque style.
    In the Cathedral:Are pounted archs, are made of stone from Orihuela, ia romanesque style.

    3.*Atisa: She is from Japan, she visits Toledo for tourism and she likes Toledo becouse is very beautiful city.She don't speak Spanish but she speak Jpanese, she recommended Spain because are a lot of monuments.
    4.Yes, a lot!

    The most beautiful monuments of Toledo is the arch of blood and Alcantar bridge. =)
    Arabic, romanesque, gothic. :-)
    Lorraine from wales, she are in Toledo for holiday, she like is tis city. She recomended Spanish because avery body in hendly. (=

    Romanesque: Romanesque Arch.
    Arabic: Horseshoe Arch.

    Rock.Bending,compression and torsion forces.
    3º My best interview was Encarna Pérez,she froms in Lleid,she is in toledo for tourism and family,she likes this city because is very beautiful,she speaks Spanish and also speaks English,she recommend this city.
